Understanding biological factors influencing the supply of milk during breastfeeding

AdobeStock_252245981_feather.jpg

Breast milk is important for infant development. However, there is a wide variation in the supply of milk during breastfeeding. For example, some women are not able to produce enough breast milk, while others produce excessive amounts. More research is needed to understand how commonly these problems occur, and also to identify the biological causes for this.

This survey is now closed. We thank all the women who took the time to complete the survey!
