Lactation hormone research presented at the ENDO 2023 meeting

Congratulations to Xin Meng (postdoctoral researcher) and Hussam Rostom (DPhil student) who both gave oral presentations at the ENDO 2023 meeting in Chicago, June 2023. Their talks on the role of insulin and thyroid hormones at the onset of lactation were well received. Xin was the recipient of an ENDO 2023 Outstanding Abstract Award for her abstract entitled “Mammary insulin sensitivity increases at the onset of lactation and promotes metabolic pathways supporting breast milk synthesis”.
